The pikkolino toast
Always Fresh and Healthy
For a small flat rate, pikkolino provides snacks and uncooked vegetables and fruit.
We serve vitalized and purified water only and use it to prepare all hot and cold drinks. The children have an unlimited all-day access to beverages.
Each child brings their own breakfast to the group. Depending on the group, we then prepare a buffet or an individual breakfast at the table, where we then eat together. Lunch is delivered freshly prepared by the catering company „Kartoffel“ from Bonn.
Making Sure it Tastes Good!
All guidelines and quality standards apply both to the deliveries of hot food as well as to food prepared on the premises or to the mixed kitchen system.
The caterer coordinates the menu with each of our facilities in order to also be able to meet the wishes and needs of the children.
Our food preparation hygiene standards are regulated and set out in our hygiene manual based on the HACCP guidelines. The hygiene handbook is available at all of our locations. In each facility, the hygiene officer also monitors compliance with the standards.

Our daughter is looking forward to going to the daycare center every morning. The educators are caring and appreciative and the whole team is just great! There are many wonderful things to do for the children, there is a lot of singing and playing and outdoor activity in the big garden. The food is tasty and varied.
